Register A Room Comfort Sensor

Register your Room Comfort Sensors to Yeastar Workplace, so that the devices can interact with the system.

Tip

All the devices are registered to the system via the device Serial Number. Collect the devices‘ SN before you start the registration.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log in to Yeastar Workplace web portal.

  2. Click the account button in the top-right corner, and select Management Portal.

  3. Go to Device Management > Device List, click Add Device.

  4. In the pop-up window, enter the device SN, specify a name, and select a gateway.

    If the SN is correct, the system automatically detects the device type.

    Best practice

    Specify a name that can help you identify where the device will be located, and also stick a small note on the back of the device. This is an operation that can help you manage multiple devices efficiently.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Power on the device or reboot the device.

Result

The status on the screen indicates that the device is registered to Yeastar Workplace.

After the sensor is bound to a meeting room, you can view the data collected by the Room Comfort Sensor in the following ways:

  • Log in to Yeastar Workplace, and on the Meeting Room Booking page, click the meeting room that the sensor is bound to.
  • In the upper right corner of the Room Display screen, view the data collected by the Room Comfort sensor.
