Auto Cleanup Settings

Auto Cleanup feature automatically and periodically cleans up your CDR, voicemails, recording files, backup files, and logs (including recording logs, event logs, email sent logs, operation logs, and system logs). This topic describes relevant configuration parameters of auto cleanup.

CDR Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Number of CDR Set the maximum number of CDR that should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum number, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest CDR will be deleted.

Default value:

  • 200,000 (extensions ＜1000)
  • 1,000,000 (extensions ≥1000)

Maximum value:

  • 1,000,000 (extensions ＜1000)
  • 10,000,000 (extensions ≥1000)
CDR Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that CDR should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum preservation days, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest CDR will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.

Voicemail Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Number of Voicemail Set the maximum number of voicemails that should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum number, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest voicemails will be deleted.

Default value: 100

Maximum value: 500
Voicemail Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that voicemails should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum preservation days, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest voicemails will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.

Recording Auto Cleanup

Recording Files
Note: When recording files are automatically cleaned up, the system deletes the files stored on PBX-attached storage, without affecting the files on the third-party archive server, while the associated recording logs remain available and manageable.
Setting Description
Max Usage of Device (%) Set the maximum storage percentage that the device is allowed to store recording files.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum storage percentage, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum storage percentage, the oldest recording files stored on PBX-attached storage will be deleted.

Default value: 80%

Maximum value: 99%

Note: You can directly enter a value in this field to set the maximum storage percentage.
Recordings Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that recording files should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum preservation days, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest recording files stored on PBX-attached storage will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.
Recording Logs
Note: When recording logs are automatically cleaned up, the system deletes the logs and handles the associated recording files according to their storage location:
  • For unarchived recordings: The system deletes both the logs and the associated recording files stored on PBX-attached storage.
  • For archived recordings: The system deletes the logs and the associated recording files stored on PBX-attached storage, if any, without affecting the files on the third-party archive server.

External Chat Data Auto Cleanup

Chat Logs
Setting Description
Max Number of External Chat Logs Set the maximum number of external chat logs to store.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum number, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest external chat logs will be deleted.

Default value: 50,000

Maximum value: 100,000
External Chat Data Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that external chat logs should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum preservation days, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest external chat logs will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.
Chat Files
Setting Description
Max Storage of Chat Files (GB) Set the maximum number of storage that external chat files (including documents and images) should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum number, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest external chat files will be deleted.

Default value: 5
External Chat Files Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that external chat files (including documents and images) should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum preservation days, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest external chat files will be deleted.

Default value: 7
Note: Entering 0 means no limit.

Fax Data Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Storage of Fax File (MB)

Set the maximum storage size for fax files.

When the limit is reached, the oldest fax files will be deleted.

Default value: 1024
Fax Log Preservation Days

Set the maximum preservation days for fax logs.

When the limit is reached, the oldest fax logs and their associated fax files will be deleted.

Default value: 7
Note: Setting the value to 0 means there is no limit on preservation days. However, to maintain system performance, the system will delete the oldest fax logs and their associated files when the total reaches 200,000.

System Backup Files Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Number of Files Set the maximum number of backup files that should be retained.

When it reaches 90% of the maximum number, the Auto Cleanup Reminder event will be triggered, the system will notify contacts concerned via specific methods.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest backup files will be deleted.

Default value: 5

Maximum value: 8

Event Logs Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Number of Logs Set the maximum number of event logs that should be retained.
When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest event logs will be deleted.
Note: Some event logs are not allowed to be automatically cleaned up. When those logs reach 5,000, the oldest event logs will be deleted.

Default value: 50,000

Maximum value: 1,000,000
Logs Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that event logs should be retained.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest event logs will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.

Email Sent Logs Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Number of Logs Set the maximum number of email sent logs that should be retained.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest email sent logs will be deleted.

Default value: 50,000

Maximum value: 1,000,000
Logs Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that email sent logs should be retained.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest email sent logs will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.

Operation Logs Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Number of Logs Set the maximum number of operation logs that should be retained.

When it reaches the maximum number, the oldest operation logs will be deleted.

Default value: 50,000

Maximum value: 1,000,000
Logs Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that operation logs should be retained.

When it reaches the maximum preservation days, the oldest operation logs will be deleted.

Default value: 0, which means no limit.

System Logs Auto Cleanup

Setting Description
Max Storage of Logs (MB) Set the maximum file size for a system log package.

When it reaches the maximum file size, the oldest logs in the package will be deleted.

Default value:
  • 10 (extensions ＜1000)
  • 100 (extensions ≥1000)
Logs Preservation Days Set the maximum number of days that a system log should be retained.

Default value: 7
