Convert a Trial P-Series Cloud PBX to Commercial Version

After you purchase hosting package of P-Series Cloud Edition on Yeastar Partner Portal, you can create trial PBX or commercial PBX for end users on Yeastar Central Management. If end users decide to convert the trial PBX to a commercial one, you can change the PBX type.

Restrictions

Important: Converting a Commercial P-Series Cloud PBX to Trial version is NOT allowed.

Background information

For a trial P-Series Cloud PBX, the PBX super administrator can see a banner as below every time he/she logs in to PBX management portal. The banner indicates expiration date of the free trial.

If an end user decides to convert the trial PBX to a commercial one, you can change the PBX type to Commercial and set a new expiration date.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Yeastar Central Management, go to Cloud PBX > PBX.
  2. Select a desired PBX, click , then select Change PBX Type/Expiration Date from the drop-down list.
  3. In the pop-up window, change PBX type and set a new expiration date, then click Save.
    • PBX Type: Select Commercial.
    • PBX Expiration Date: Set a new date, which is regarded as the expiration date of PBX plan.
      When it comes to 30 days or 7 days before the date, or on the day, the system will send expiration reminder emails to the associated contacts.
      Important: When it comes to the expiration date, the PBX still works as usual. You need to manually stop the PBX if you don't want users to continue to use it.

Result

On PBX management portal, the banner for expiration reminder is disappeared, and expiration date of PBX plan is updated as the new date.
