Enable or Disable Internal Chat Feature for a P-Series Cloud PBX

P-Series Cloud PBX supports internal chat feature, allowing users to send instant messages with colleagues on their Linkus UC Clients. You can enable or disable the internal chat feature for a P-Series Cloud PBX as needed.

Requirements

  • P-Series Cloud PBX: 84.12.0.32 or later
  • Linkus UC Client: The settings will be applied to the following Linkus clients.
    • Linkus Web Client
    • Linkus Desktop Client (Windows Desktop 1.2.14 or later / macOS Desktop 1.2.10 or later)

Enable Chat feature for a P-Series Cloud PBX

  1. Log in to Yeastar Central Management, go to Cloud PBX > PBX.
  2. Click beside a desired PBX.

  3. Under PBX Information tab, scroll down to System section.
  4. Select the checkbox of Allow to Use Internal Chat, then click Save.

    Users can access and use the internal chat feature on their Linkus UC Clients.

Disable Chat feature for a P-Series Cloud PBX

  1. Log in to Yeastar Central Management, go to Cloud PBX > PBX.
  2. Click beside a desired PBX.

  3. Under PBX Information tab, scroll down to System section.
  4. Unselect the checkbox of Allow to Use Internal Chat, then click Save.

    Users can NOT access the internal chat feature on their Linkus UC Clients.
