Reduce System Capacity of a P-Series Cloud PBX
After you create a P-Series Cloud PBX, you can reduce the number of extensions, concurrent calls, and recording capacity as needed.
Restrictions
The feature only works for partners who have purchased hosting package of P-Series Cloud Edition.
Procedure
- Log in to Yeastar Central Management, go to .
- Select a desired PBX, click
, then select Resize Capacity from the drop-down list.
- In the pop-up window, reduce the number of extensions, concurrent calls, or
recording capacity as needed.Note: If you set recording capacity to 0, Call Recording feature on the PBX will be disabled, and existing recording files will be cleared.
- Click Save.
Result
The operation result varies from the Plan with which the PBX is subscribed:
- PBX with Enterprise Plan subscribed

- The reduced extensions, concurrent calls, and recording capacity are retrieved to your total subscription capacity, and takes effect on PBX immediately.
- The extensions (extension number in ascending order) that fall
out the range can not register to any endpoints.Note: If these extensions have registered to endpoints, they will be de-registered automatically.
- PBX with Ultimate Plan subscribed

- The reduced extensions, concurrent calls, and recording capacity
are retrieved to your total subscription capacity, and takes
effect on PBX immediately.Note: Refund for reduced extensions is NOT supported. If you want to assign these extensions to another PBX with Ultimate Plan subscribed, you still need to pay extra charge.
- The extensions (extension number in ascending order) that fall
out the range can not register to any endpoints.Note: If these extensions have registered to endpoints, they will be de-registered automatically.
- The reduced extensions, concurrent calls, and recording capacity
are retrieved to your total subscription capacity, and takes
effect on PBX immediately.
