Enable Encryption Tunnel for Linkus Mobile Calls

Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition provides an encrypted tunnel for Linkus Mobile Calls. If enabled, all SIP signaling and RTP media of Linkus Mobile Clients are routed through an encrypted tunnel to the PBX. This improves communication security and helps prevent carrier‑level SIP blocking, ensuring reliable extension registration and stable calls even in restrictive network environments.

Requirements

  • The PBX server and Linkus Mobile Clients should meet the following requirements.
    • PBX Server: Version 84.21.0.117 or later
    • Linkus Mobile Client: Version 5.22.19 (iOS) / 5.22.12 (Android) or later.
  • Your service provider has completed the following setup on the PBX management platform (Yeastar Central Management):
    • Opened the required tunnel port.
    • Enabled the Call Encryption Tunnel feature.

Procedure

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Security > Security Settings > Security Options.
  2. Scroll down to the Call Encryption Tunnel section, then select the checkbox of Enable Call Encryption Tunnel.

  3. Click Save.

Result

The encrypted tunnel feature has been enabled for the PBX, all call signaling and media for Linkus Mobile Clients working with this PBX will be routed through the encrypted tunnel.
