Log out of a Hot Desking Phone
This topic describes how extension users can log out of a hot desking phone.
Procedure
Extension users can log out of a hot desking phone using either of the following methods:

The system automatically assigns a Guest Out key to a hot desking phone when a user logged in. The user can press the key on the phone to quickly log out. Troubleshooting: If a user failed
to log out by pressing the Guest Out key, you
need to check if the Guest Out
feature code has been changed (Path: ).

Result
The user's extension is logged out of the phone; the phone is reverted to the default
settings and can only be used to make emergency calls.
Important: The call logs are kept on the hot desking phone, the user needs
to manually clear the data if necessary.
Note:
- If you have set up the system to retain configurations for hot desking phones, the general phone configurations (such as language, signal tones, distinctive ringtone, codecs, etc.) will be retained, which are configured in the ; while the extension registration-related configurations, LDAP directory settings, and function key settings will be cleared.
- If a user forgot to log out, after another user logs in to the hot desking phone, the previous user would be logged out automatically, or you can forcibly log the user out of the phone on PBX web portal.
