Improvements and bug fixes

For more information, see Set up Extension Voicemail.

  • Added a configuration item Allow Selecting Outbound Caller ID (Path: Extension and Trunk > Extension > User > Outbound Caller ID (DOD)).

If enabled, extension users can select a specific outbound caller ID (DOD) along with its corresponding trunk to make an outbound call.

  • Fixed the call forwarding issue: An extension was set to always forward external calls to a ring group and follow the global MoH setting for call forwarding, but the ringing tone was not played to callers as expected.
Auto Provisioning
  • Added two provisioning methods - Provision Link - FQDN (Remote) and Provision Link (Remote) - for IP phones that don't support or don't compatible with RPS Auto Provisioning method.

To provision remote IP phones via the two provisioning methods, you need to obtain a provisioning link from PBX web portal, then set up the link to where your IP phones can fetch the configuration files.

  • Fixed the auto provisioning issue: A Snom IP phone was not successfully auto provisioned via RPS, even though the RPS Request Success event was triggered.
Feature Code
Added support for Call Force Drop (Path: Call Features > Feature Code > Force Drop), which allows the authorized users to force drop an extension's current call.
For more information, see Allow Users to Force Drop Extensions' Calls.
Ring Group
Added support for Custom ring strategy, which allows you to set up individual ring delays and timeouts for each member.
Voice Prompt
  • Added a configuration item Play Call Waiting Prompt (Path: PBX Settings > Voice Prompt > Prompt Preferences). If enabled, callers will hear a prompt when they are waiting to be connected to an extension user that is on a call.

For more information, see Voice Prompt Overview.

  • Fixed the Music on Hold issue: The play order of the local audio MoH playlist was set to play randomly, but the setting didn't take effect.
