Reassign an Extension to a Provisioned IP Phone

If a phone is previously provisioned but the phone owner has been changed, you can reassign an extension to the provisioned phone.


  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Auto Provisioning > Phones, edit the desired phone.
  2. In the Assign Extension section, select a desired extension.
    Tip: If your desired extension is not listed in the drop-down list, you can check if the extension has been associated with other IP phone.
  3. Click Save.


The extension is automatically registered on the phone, and configurations in the selected template are applied to the phone.
