About This Guide
This guide introduces how to use Yeastar Cloud PBX Management Plane to create PBXs for your customers, manage Cloud PBXs, manage and maintain the Yeastar Cloud PBX Management Plane.
Introduction
Yeastar Cloud PBX Management Plane (YMP) is a management platform that provides web-based setup page. You can create and manage PBXs for your customers on YMP.
Initial system settings on YMP and arrange a PBX for your customer.
Log in YMP Web Interface
When installing YMP server, you should provide an administrator account to Yeastar. The administrator account will be bound to your YMP server. Log in YMP web interface by the administrator account.
Customer Management
YMP supports to create two customer types: Reseller and End User.
PBX Status Overview
The PBX status on YMP web page gets updated in real time as the PBX running status changes.
Create a PBX
Create a PBX for your customer, then send the PBX login information to the customer.
Start/Stop a PBX
After creating a PBX, you need to start the PBX so that PBX users can access the PBX. If your customer don't need the PBX temporarily, you can stop the PBX.
Send PBX Information
After creating a PBX, you need to send PBX login information to the customer.
Upgrade PBX Firmware
If a new PBX firmware file is stored on the YMP server, you can upgrade your customers' PBXs to the new version.
Manage PBX Images
When a new PBX firmware version is detected on the YMP, you can download the PBX firmware on YMP. As multiple PBX firmware files are stored on YMP, you can decide which PBX firmware to be installed on the customers' PBXs.
Resize PBX Capacity
According to your customer's requirements, you can resize the Extension capacity, Concurrent Call capacity, and Call Recording capacity of the customer's PBX.
Export PBX Information
You can export the information of all PBXs to a CSV file, then check and manage the PBXs in bulk.
Restore PBX from a Backup
If there is a problem of your customer's PBX, you can restore the PBX from a backup.
Enable/Disable PBX Features
You can decide whether to enable the Linkus Chat, Firmware Upgrade, Call Recording functions on your customers' PBXs.
Check PBX Information
After creating a PBX, you can view the PBX's information and the associated customer's information.
Customize Email Notification Template
YMP includes a default email template for notification emails. When you create a PBX for your customer and send a email notification to the customer, the default email template is used. You can preview the email template and customize the text and logo in the email template according to your needs.
Reset PBX Admin Password
If your customer forgets the password of PBX web login, you can reset the admin password and send a password reset link to the customer.
Co-brand PBX
YMP allows Yeastar partners to co-brand Yeastar Cloud PBX by customizing the logo, product name, web icon (favicon), and email template. Offering the co-branded PBXs to your customers is an increasingly effective way to accelerate and scale your business.
Delete a PBX
To save the YMP capacity, you can delete a PBX if the associated customer no longer needs the PBX.
