Manage PBX Images

When a new PBX firmware version is detected on the YMP, you can download the PBX firmware on YMP. As multiple PBX firmware files are stored on YMP, you can decide which PBX firmware to be installed on the customers' PBXs.

Check for New PBX Image

If users want to upgrade the PBX firmware, you need to check if there is a new PBX firmware version released by Yeastar, then download the PBX image in your YMP.

  1. Go to PBX > PBX Image.
  2. To immediately check if there is new released PBX version , click Check for new Image.
  3. To set up automatic check, select Check for updates and let me choose whether to download and set when to do the auto check.

    If an new PBX firmware version is detected, the new version will be displayed on the PBX Image page. You can check the release note for the new version, and decide whether to download the PBX image or not.

Disallow PBX detection

By default, all the PBX images stored in YMP are allowed to be detected by PBX users. If you don't want the PBX users to detect a specific PBX firmware on their PBXs, you can disallow the PBX firmware detection.

  1. Go to PBX > PBX Image.
  2. To disallow PBX firmware detection, turn off Allow PBX Detection.

  3. Click Save.

Delete a PBX Image

To save the YMP storage, you can delete a PBX image if the version of PBX image is not suit for your customers.

  1. Go to PBX > PBX Image.
  2. Click beside the desired PBX image to delete the image file from YMP.
    Note: If the PBX image is being used on a customer's PBX, the image cannot be deleted.
