Add Users Individually

This topic describes how to add users individually.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Yeastar Workplace admin portal, go to User Management > Users and Groups.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the pop-up window, fill in the user information.
    Item Description
    Face Image
    Important: This option is only available when you have Set Facial Recognition as the Authentication Method.
    Upload face image for this user, allowing the user to verify identity through facial recognition when performing permission-required operations on the Room Display.
    Note: The image to be uploaded must meet the following requirements:
    • Format: jpg, jpeg, or png
    • Size: Less than 1MB
    First Name Enter the user's first name.
    Last Name Enter the user's last name.
    Email Address Enter the user's email address.

    The user can log in to Yeastar Workplace web portal and receive notification emails via this email address.
    User Group Specify at least one user group for this user from the drop-down list.
    Note:
    • The system has a default user group, you can also create new groups.
    • If no groups were created, retain the default value All Users.
    Role Assign a role to the user to determine the user's permissions on Yeastar Workplace web portal.
    Note:
    • Roles in the drop-down list are synchronized from User Management > Role.
    • There are default user roles: Administrator and User. You can also create new user roles.
    Preferred Office Select the building and floor where this user's workplace is located.
    Mobile Number Enter the user's mobile number.
    Extension Enter the user's extension number.
    ID Specify the ID for this user.
    Send Welcome Email If you want to send an invitation email to this user, select the checkbox.
  4. Click OK.

Result

You have added a user successfully.

  • The added user is listed on the web page.

  • If you selected Send Welcome Email, an invitation email is sent to the user, through which the user can activate his/her Yeastar Workplace account, and the Account Status displays Invited.
