PIN List Overview
PIN list enables you to secure outbound dialing by requiring users to enter a valid PIN code for authentication, thus helping prevent unauthorized outbound calls.
What is PIN list?
PIN List allows you to configure PIN code authentication for outbound calls. You can create and apply a PIN list to an outbound route to require users to enter a valid PIN code before making outbound calls.

Apply the PIN list to an outbound route.
Note: When users try to make outbound calls through the
restricted outbound route, they are prompted to enter a valid PIN code.
- If the PIN code is validated, the outbound call is initiated and the PIN code used is recorded in CDR for tracking purposes.
- If users enter an incorrect PIN code three times, the outbound call is terminated and hung up.
