Configure Voicemail Feature Code

Voicemail feature codes allow users to monitor voicemail status, check new voicemail messages, or quickly leave a voicemail for a specific user.

Procedure

  1. Log in to NovoOne Tenant portal, go to Call Features > Feature Code.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Voicemail, then enable the desired feature and modify the feature code as needed.

    Feature Default Code Description
    Check Voicemail / Subscribe Voicemail Status *2
    Check voicemail
    • A user can check their own voicemail by dialing *2.
    • A user can check voicemail of a target extension by dialing *2 + {target_extension_number}.
    Monitor voicemail status
    A user can monitor voicemail status of themselves or a target extension by configuring a BLF key mapped to *2 + {target_extension_number}.
    • Red LED: There are new voicemail messages for the user.
    • Green LED: There are no new voicemail messages for the user.
    Leave a Voicemail for a User *12

    A user can leave a voicemail for another user by dialing *12 + {target_extension_number}.
  3. Click Save.

Result

Users can dial the configured feature codes to use the corresponding voicemail features.
