Users Parameters

Descriptions for parameters in imported and exported Users file.


Parameter	Description	Importance	Restriction
First Name	The first name of the user.	Required	The minimum length is 1 and the maximum length is 127. All characters are allowed.
Last Name	The last name of the user.	Optional	The minimum length is 1 and the maximum length is 127. All characters are allowed.
User Group	The name of the user group that this user belongs.	Required	Permitted value: The group names that exist in the system. Format: To add a user to multiple groups, use `;` as a separator (E.g. Yeastar/Marketing Center/PM Team;Yeastar/Marketing Center/R&D Team). Note: The group names must be created on the web portal in advance.
Email Address	Enter the user's email address. The user can log in to Yeastar Workplace web portal and receive notification emails via this email address.	Required	Only numbers, letters, and characters `@` `_-.` are allowed. Must start with a number, letter, or character `_`and follow the email address format XXX@XXX.XX. Users' email addresses cannot be duplicated. The maximum character length is 255.
ID	User's ID number.	Optional	Only numbers and letters are allowed. The maximum character length is 32.
Mobile	User's mobile number.	Optional	Numbers, letters, and characters `().-+*#` are allowed. The maximum character length is 31.
Extension	User's extension number.	Optional	Numbers, letters, and characters `().-+*#` are allowed. The maximum character length is 31.
Role	Assign a role to the user to determine the user's permissions on Yeastar Workplace web portal.	Required	Permitted value: The role names that exist in the system.
Preferred Building	Name of the office building where the user's workplace is located.	Required	All characters are allowed.
Preferred Floor	Name of the floor where the user's workplace is located.	Optional	All characters are allowed.
