Usage Scenarios of Cellular Network
The usages of cellular network vary by the type of the cellular network.
Restrictions
Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX V4.0 does not support the Cellular Network feature.
For Public Cellular Network
If you have a public cellular network, you can do the following via the cellular network:
- Register a remote extension to the PBX
- Create a register-based VoIP trunk.
- Create a peer-to-peer VoIP trunk
- Send notification emails from the PBX
For Private Cellular Network
The private IP is unreachable from Internet, so network traffic from other devices cannot reach the PBX. But the PBX can set network traffic to the Internet.
In this way, you can do the followings via the cellular network:
- Create a register-based VoIP trunk on the PBX.
- Send notification emails from the PBX Trunk
