Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API Integration Overview
Yeastar P-Series PBX System supports integration with Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API to converts voicemail audio into readable text, allowing users to review voicemail messages efficiently.
Important: Starting from version 37.23.0.83, this feature will no longer be maintained. For
better security, it is recommended to disconnect the existing
legacy integration and migrate to AI Voicemail
Transcription,
which is based on the latest Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API V2.
Restriction
The integrations can NOT be used simultaneously with the AI voicemail transcription.

Note: The Speech to Text
feature on Yeastar P-Series PBX System is free. However, you will need to pay
for the Speech-to-Text service of the third-party platforms.

Applications
After setting up STT integration and enabling Voicemail Transcription feature on the PBX, users can receive voicemails in the form of text on different platform:
- Linkus UC Clients
- Users can check the transcribed text for each voicemail on Linkus Web Client, Linkus Desktop Client, and Linkus Mobile Client.
- Email Client
- If Voicemail to Email feature is enabled, the transcribed text will be displayed in the email content for received voicemails.
