Schedule an Automated Migration Task

Yeastar Central Management supports to automatically migrate P-Series Cloud Edition from the current PBXHub Server to the designated one at a scheduled time, allowing flexible adaption to capacity or infrastructure adjustment.

Restrictions

Important: Only P-Series Cloud Edition is allowed to be migrated by a task.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Yeastar Central Management, go to Task > Scheduled Task.
  2. Click Add to create a migration task.
  3. Set up the migration task:
    Setting Description
    Name Enter a name to help you identify the task.
    Object Type Select P-Series Cloud Edition.
    Task Select Migrate.
    Repeat Select One-time.
    Execution Time Set when to migrate.
    Timezone Select a time zone of the task execution time.
    Tip: You can enable or disable Daylight Saving Time (DST) as needed.
    Creator Your name is automatically filled in, and the field can not be edited.
    Remark Optional. Add a note to the task.
    Source Object In the Source PBXHub Cluster drop-down list, select the PBXHub Server where the Cloud PBX to be migrated is located. Then select the desired PBX from the Source P-Series Cloud Edition field.
    Target Object In the Target PBXHub Cluster drop-down list, select the target PBXHub Server to which the Cloud PBX will be migrated.
  4. Click Save.

Result

  • The task status is displayed as (Pending).

  • When the migration process is executed, the specified PBX will automatically stop. After the migration is completed, it will automatically resume its running status.
    Note: You can check the execution result on Task > Execution Logs.
