Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin Overview

Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin is a local plugin compatible with Microsoft Teams. It runs in the background automatically upon computer startup, enabling Teams users to answer calls, initiate calls, and perform call‑related operations in an auto-popped standalone window. This topic describes supported configurations and call controls for Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin.

Requirements

The PBX server must meet the following requirements:
- Firmware: Version 37.24.0.122 or later
- Plan: Enterprise Plan (EP) or Ultimate Plan (UP)
Operating system version must meet the following requirements:
- Windows: Windows 10 or later
- macOS: macOS 12 or later
You have integrated Yeastar P-Series PBX System with Microsoft Teams and set Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin as the call-control handler.

Plugin configurations

Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin allows you to enable and customize hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts) to quickly perform specific operations without using the mouse, as well as other maintenance actions such as upgrading the plugin, downloading logs, and exiting the plugin.

Call controls

Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin launches automatically when the computer starts and runs in the background.

When you dial a number or receive an incoming call, the plugin automatically opens a standalone window. In this window, you can perform call controls such as transcribing the call, adding call notes, and recording the call, and more.
