Email Overview

An email server makes it possible for delivering e-mail messages over the Internet. This topic describes email server, email language, and email templates on Yeastar NovoOne Platform.

Email server

An email server is required to send emails for account activation, password retrieval, password reset, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) verification, alarm notifications, service expiration reminders, and notifications triggered within your tenants.

To send emails, you must set up an email server. For more information, see Set up a Custom Email Server and Set up Outlook as an Email Server.

Email language

By default, NovoOne Platform sends emails in English. To change email language, see Language.

Email sent logs

NovoOne Platform provides email sent logs, which enable you to monitor mail delivery, and offer you error messages to help you troubleshoot delivery issues more quickly.
