Create a Custom Auto Provisioning Template

If you want to customize the general settings defined in a default provisioning template, add additional parameters or configure templates for custom phone models, you can customize a auto provisioning template on NovoOne Platform.

Custom template allows you to customize device settings, then you, assigned resellers and tenant administrators of assigned tenants can easily apply the custom template to a group of devices, or an individual device.

NovoOne Platform provides three types of custom template:

  • Basic Custom Template: Allow you to customize the parameters provided in the default template. For more information, see Create a Basic Auto Provisioning Template.
  • Advanced Custom Template: Allow you to customize parameters provided in the default template, and add additional parameters for the desired phones. For more information, see Create an Advanced Auto Provisioning Template
    Note: Contact your vendor to make sure that the added parameters are supported.
  • Custom Template for Custom Phone Model: Allow you to upload custom configuration files for models from supported manufacturers that are not yet compatible with the system. For more information, see Create a Template for a Custom Phone Model.
