Update Templates to Provisioned Devices

This topic describes how to update auto provisioning templates to all applicable IP phones.

Update a default template to all applicable devices

  1. Log in to NovoOne Platform portal, go to Inventory > IP Phones > Resource Repository > Custom Templates.
  2. Click beside the desired template.
  3. In the pop-up window, click Confirm.

    All phones provisioned via the template and assigned to your tenants are automatically reprovisioned to apply the latest configuration.

Update custom templates to all applicable devices

Prerequisites
You have created custom auto provisioning templates.
Procedure
  1. Log in to NovoOne Platform portal, go to Inventory > IP Phones > Resource Repository > Custom Templates.
  2. Update the configurations to the provisioned phones as needed.
    • To update the configurations to the phones provisioned via a specific template, click beside the desired template.
    • To update the configurations to the phones provisioned via multiple templates, select the checkboxes of desired templates, and click Update to Device.
  3. In the pop-up window, click Confirm to trigger phone re-provisioning.

    All phones provisioned via the templates and assigned to your tenants are reprovisioned immediately to apply the latest configuration.
