Allow Firmware Detection of P-Series Cloud PBX

By default, hosting users, resellers, and PBX administrators can NOT check any new version of P-Series Cloud PBX. You need to allow firmware detection for a specific region first, then specify the hosting users who can view and use the firmware. In this way, the specified hosting users as well as their resellers and PBX administrators can check for the specified firmware in the region.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Yeastar Central Management, go to Repository > Firmware.
  2. Click P-Series PBX System tab.
  3. Click beside a desired firmware to expand the region list, then turn on the Allow Detection switch in the desired region.
Important: There is version dependency between PBX version and servers' version. Make sure that the Yeastar Central Management version and Cluster servers' version meet the minimum requirements, otherwise you would fail to turn on the switch.

  4. In the pop-up window, specify the hosting users who can view and use the firmware.
    • To allow firmware detection for all hosting users, select All Hosting Users in the Open To: drop-down list, then click Save.

    • To allow firmware detection for specific hosting users, select Specific Hosting User in the Open To: drop-down list and select the desired hosting users, then click Save.

Result

  • When the specified hosting users and their resellers log in to their Yeastar Central Management, they will be prompted with the new firmware of P-Series Cloud PBX.

  • For P-Series Cloud PBXs in the specified region, if firmware upgrade from PBX side are allowed, the PBX administrators will also be prompted with the new PBX firmware on PBX web portal.
