Manage CRM Integration Templates

This topic describes how to manage the CRM integration templates.

Update a default template

You can check if a new default template is available, and decide whether to update the default template.
Note: Make sure that your PBX can connect to Internet, or new templates will not be detected
  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. At the top of the Default Templates list, click Check for New Template.
  4. If a new template is detected, click beside the desired template, then click OK in the pop-up window to update.

    The template content will take effect immediately and will be automatically applied to the existing CRM integration settings if configured.

  5. Click beside the desired template to review the updated configurations.

Create a custom template from default

You can save the built-in default template as a custom template, and then edit it to meet your specific needs without modifying the original default template.

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. In the Default Templates tab, do as follows:

    1. Click beside the desired template.
    2. In the pop-up window, enter the following template information.
      • CRM Name: Set a name for the template.
      • Remark: (Optional) Enter a remark.
    3. Click Save.

      The template is saved and displayed in the Custom Templates list.

Edit a custom template

Note: This operation will only update the settings that can be configured on the webpage, and will NOT affect any customized configurations within the template.
You can edit a custom template in either of the following ways:
Edit via configuration page
  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. Go to the Custom Templates tab, then click beside the desired template.
  4. In the pop-up window, edit the template settings according to your needs.
  5. Click Save.
  6. If you have integrated the custom CRM with PBX, do as follows to directly apply the changes to the current integration.

    1. Click beside the template.
    2. In the pop-up window, click Confirm.
Edit via XML
  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. Go to the Custom Templates tab, click beside the desired template.
  4. At the bottom of the view window, click Edit.

  5. Modify the XML content as needed, then click Save.

    The changes will take effect immediately. If you have integrated the custom CRM with PBX, the changes will be applied to the existing integration automatically.

Download custom templates

You can download the custom integration template to upload to other PBX systems for integration or manually modify the template parameters to customize settings for specific needs.
  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. Go to the Custom Templates tab.
  4. Select the desired template(s), then click Download at the top of the list.

    The template files are downloaded to your local computer.

Upload a custom template

You can upload a custom integration template to the PBX systems for quick integration.
Note:
  • Supports up to 10 custom CRM integration templates.
  • The file size should be less than 1 MB.
  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. Go to the Custom Templates tab.
  4. At the top of the template list, click Upload.
  5. In the pop-up window, click Browse, then select the desired template file to upload.
  6. Click Save.

    The template file is uploaded to the PBX system, and displayed in the template list.

Delete custom templates

  1. Log in to PBX web portal, go to Integrations > CRM.
  2. At the top-right corner of the page, click Template Management.

    You are redirected to the Template Management page.

  3. Go to the Custom Templates tab.
  4. To delete a single template, do as follows:
    1. Click beside the template.
    2. In the pop-up window, click OK.
  5. To delete multiple templates, do as follows:
    1. Select the desired templates.
    2. At the top of the template list, click Delete.
    3. In the pop-up window, click OK.
