Local Backup & Restore

Schedule auto backup on YMP web interface to ensure an alternative option in case of any failure of the YMP system and customers' PBXs.

By default, Backup Schedule is enabled on YMP, and the system automatically creates a backup file stored in the system at midnight every day.
Important: You can adjust the backup schedule settings on YMP, but do NOT disable Backup Schedule feature.

Backup Data

YMP supports for backing up the following data:

  • YMP system configurations
  • System configurations of PBXs
  • Call logs of PBXs
  • Voicemails of PBXs
  • Custom prompts of PBXs
  • One Touch Recordings of PBXs
  • Voicemail, one-touch recordings, and CDRs of PBXs

Scenarios

When the YMP web interface is accessible, the local backup files are applied for the following scenarios:

  • Customer PBX restore

    When your customer's PBX data is abnormal or the PBX data is lost, you can quickly restore an individual PBX backup for the customer's PBX.

  • YMP system restore

    When the data loss or data error occurs in the YMP system or in all the customers' PBXs, you can restore the entire YMP backup to fix this issue.
