Deploy Yeastar Cloud PBX in Data Center

Before you start to deploy Yeastar Cloud PBX in a data center, you need to know the general prerequisites for YMP server and SBC server.

Supported VM Platform

The YMP server and SBC server can be virtualized on a VM platform that will eliminate the cost of separate hardware. The tested and supported VM platforms are:

  • Microsoft Hyper-v

  • KVM
  • VMware
Note: Bochs is not supported.

Requirements for SBC Server and YMP Server

  • Do NOT install other service in the SBC server or YMP server, or you need to uninstall the services or reinstall the system.
  • Forward all the ports (1-65535) on the SBC server.
  • The SBC server has two Ethernet interfaces.
  • Each YMP server has one Ethernet interface eth0.
  • SBC WAN (eth0) can receive data from the Internet and send data to the Internet.
  • SBC LAN (eth1) and YMP LAN (eth0) are in the same subnet.
  • SBC acts as a gateway. The YMP will initiate outbound connections to the Internet through the SBC gateway.
