- Step 1. Obtain backup files
- Contact Yeastar Support to obtain backup files for your Cloud PBXs.
- Step 2. Delete provisioned phones

- Step 3. Delete the original PBX
- Delete the original PBX instances from the YMP platform.Note: This step will initiate system downtime. During this period, all telephony services will be unavailable until the new PBX is fully restored and operational.
- Step 4. Prepare target PBX
- On Yeastar Central Management, create P-Series Cloud PBX instances with the required firmware version.
- Step 5. Restore backup
- Restore the backup to the target P-Series Cloud PBX instance either through Yeastar Central Management or directly on the specific P-Series Cloud PBX instance. For more information, see Restore a Cloud PBX backup on P-Series Cloud Edition.
- Step 6. Verify and configure system after restoration
- After restoring from the backup, perform the following tasks on the new
PBX:
- Confirm that all supported settings and data have been successfully migrated.
- Verify SIP trunk registration status.Note: For peer trunks, update the server information with your ITSP to ensure correct trunk peering and connectivity.
- Reset your IP phones to initiate auto-provisioning with the new
PBX.Note: If provisioning fails, follow the corresponding configuration instructions for the P-Series PBX system to complete the setup.
