Q: What is unique product identifier and where can I find it?
In Yeastar Partner Portal, a unique product identifier defines and distinguishes the product or user for which you want to subscribe to plan or service.
The table below shows what and where to find the unique product identifier for different Yeastar products.
Product Unique Product Identifier
Cloud PBX (Instance) Add-on Service The Yeastar ID of your subordinate user or yourself.

All the accounts of your subordinate users and your account will be displayed in the drop-down list when you purchase, simply select one account as needed.

Cloud PBX (Instance)
  • For a new Cloud PBX: The Yeastar ID of your subordinate user or yourself.

    All the accounts of your subordinate users and your account will be displayed in the drop-down list when you purchase, simply select one account as needed.

  • For an existing Cloud PBX: The Serial Number (SN) of the Cloud PBX.

    To obtain the SN, go to Products & Purchase > Cloud PBX (Instance), copy the SN in the SN column.

Cloud PBX (Package) The Yeastar ID of your subordinate user or yourself.

All the accounts of your subordinate users and your account will be displayed in the drop-down list when you purchase, simply select one account as needed.

P-Series Software Edition
  • For a new software PBX: The Yeastar ID of your subordinate user or yourself.

    All the accounts of your subordinate users and your account will be displayed in the drop-down list when you purchase, simply select one account as needed.

  • For an existing software PBX: The Serial Number (SN) of the Software PBX.

    To obtain the SN, go to Products & Purchase > P-Series Software Edition, copy the SN in the SN column.

P-Series Plan for Appliance Edition The Serial Number (SN) of the Appliance PBX.

To obtain the SN, log in to PBX web portal, go to Dashboard > Information > Serial Number to copy the SN.

Remote Management The Yeastar ID of your subordinate user or yourself.

All the accounts of your subordinate users and your account will be displayed in the drop-down list when you purchase, simply select one account as needed.

Linkus Cloud Service The Serial Number (SN) of PBX.

To obtain the SN, log in to PBX web portal, go to Resource Monitor > Information > Serial Number to copy the SN.

Q: If I want to set up Hot Standby or Disaster Recovery for an existing P-Series Software Edition, do I need to purchase another new license?
No, you don't. You just need to subscribe to Hot Standby service or Disaster Recovery service for the software PBX that will work as primary server. When done, you will obtain the licenses for primary server and backup server(s).
To subscribe to Hot Standby service or Disaster Recovery service, do as follows:
  1. Log in to Yeastar Partner Portal, go to Products & Purchase.
  2. On the product list, click Software PBX (PSE Self-hosted).
  3. On the right of the desired product, click More, then select Expansion from the drop-down list.

  4. Subscribe to Hot Standby service or Disaster Recovery service as needed.

  5. Proceed to complete payment.

    When done, click Go to Copy to copy the activation codes.

    Click Activation Code to copy the activation codes and activate your software PBXs.
