Import Parameters - LDAP Phonebook

Descriptions for the LDAP Phonebook parameters that you can import to Yeastar Cloud PBX.

Note: The LDAP server has a default LDAP phonebook with PBX DN. You can NOT import contacts with the default phonebook node.
Parameter Description Importance Restriction
Phonebook Node The Phonebook that contact information will be imported to.
Note:
  • The contacts that do not specify "Phonebook" will not be imported.
  • If the specified Phonebook is not existing in PBX, PBX will create a new Phonebook.
 Required Only alphanumeric characters are allowed.
Extension This is the extension number for default phonebook.
Note: Leave Extension field empty if you want to import custom contacts.
 Optional
  • Only numbers are allowed.
  • The maximum length is 7.
Nickname The name of Contact. Required
  • The following characters are NOT allowed:

    & " ' \ < > ` | +

  • The maximum length is 63.
First Name The first name of Contact. Optional
  • The following characters are NOT allowed:

    & " ' \ < > ` |

  • The maximum length is 31.
Last Name The last name of Contact. Optional
  • The following characters are NOT allowed:

    & " ' \ < > ` |

  • The maximum length is 31.
Email The email address of Contact. At lease 1 contact method must be entered:
  • Email
  • Mobile Number
  • Office Number
  • Home Number
  • Must be email address format.
  • The following characters are NOT allowed:

    # ; , [ ] = & " ' \ < > ` $

Mobile Number The mobile number of Contact. The maximum length is 31.
Office Number The office number of Contact. The maximum length is 63.
Home Number The home number of Contact. The maximum length is 31.
Department The department name of Contact. Optional The following characters are NOT allowed:
