Release notes for Yeastar Management Platform (YMP).

Version 82.9.0.61

Release Date: March 6, 2023
  • Fixed the PBX email issue: If the Cloud PBX system email was set to use the default SMTP server, users could not receive PBX emails.
  • Fixed the PBX status issue: After restarting a Cloud PBX on YMP, the PBX status remained at "Starting".
  • Fixed the PBX upgrade issue: After upgrading a Cloud PBX on YMP, the PBX web interface became inaccessible and the browser prompted "502 Bad Gateway".
  • Fixed the YMP reboot issue: After rebooting the YMP server, the YMP notification contact received a PBX crash alarm.

  • Improved compatibility with Mail Server: Updated the TLS version of Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) to TLS 1.2/1.3.
  • Fixed the PBX rebooting issue: After executed rebooting on Cloud PBX, the PBX couldn't restart running automatically.
  • Fixed the storage issue: After a YMP Server had been running for a certain period, the system would generate a large amount of logs unexpectedly, resulting in alarms on full storage space.

  • YMP administrators can restrict whether PBX users can detect a specific PBX firmware.
  • Optimized the display order of the PBX firmware versions on the PBX Image list.
  • Fixed the issue that Daylight Saving Time setting on YMP didn't take effect.
  • Fixed the YMP Welcome Email issue: If the YMP administrator created multiple users, the system would send incorrect welcome emails to PBX users.
  • Fixed PBX Co-branding issue: If the PBX was upgraded to version 81.14.0.23, the co-branding settings would not take effect on PBX.
  • Fixed the network disk issue: The network disk had been mounted, but the YMP web page showed that it was unmounted.

  • Enhanced the monitoring of PBX's status and took automatic repair measures.
    • Added support for detecting the PBX's status and automatically repairing abnormal PBXs.
    • Added support for sending PBX Crash alarms (Alarm > Alarm Settings).

      If the YMP fails to repair a PBX, YMP will send a PBX Crash alarm to the notification contacts.

  • Fixed the issue that upgrading PBX firmware on YMP web page might fail.
  • Fixed the CPU alarm issue: An incorrect CPU alarm would be sent when you were upgrading the YMP.

  • Improved system stability.
  • Optimized SMTP Email feature.
    • Optimized Email Test feature: Click Test, and YMP will send a test email to administrator's mailbox. If sending test email failed, detailed failure reasons would be displayed on the YMP web interface.
    • Restricted the Sender Email Address field: No special characters are allowed.
  • Optimized Alarm settings.
    • The notification permissions for a contact is editable.

      Go to Alarm > Notification Contacts, you can edit the notification permissions for a contact.

    • By default, alarm notifications for the following events are enabled, and the notification emails will be sent to the YMP administrator.
      Note: Do NOT turn off notifications for the following events and pay attention to the notification emails so that you can fix the issues to ensure that the YMP runs stably.

  • Optimized Operation Log.
    • Added filters for Source: All, Web, and API.
    • Added Source column in the downloaded operation_log.csv.
  • Fixed the issue of PBX upgrade: If PBX name contained Chinese characters, the PBX upgrade would fail.
  • Fixed the occasional boot failure of PBX.
  • Fixed the issue of Dashboard.
    • The transmission rate of Network displayed incorrectly.
    • The line graph of Active Calls (Calls), CPU, and Network displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed the display issue of PBX domain: PBX domain displayed incorrectly if Translation Extension was enabled on Google Chrome.

  • Added Disk I/O Overload alarm.
  • Improved the YMP system stability.
  • Optimized Alarm settings: The alarm notifications of Memory Overload and Storage Full are enabled by default.
  • Optimized the alarm mechanisms of PBX Active Calls Oversubscription, thus the system performance is improved.
  • Fixed the issue of Network Dashboard: The received network data was not updated automatically on the Dashboard.
  • Fixed the issue of YMP network: The PBXs might be unreachable as the YMP network went wrong.
  • Fixed the issue of Notification Email: If the YMP system restored configurations from backup data, the notification emails failed to send.

    When the PBX is booting, the PBX status shows (Starting).

  • Optimized Operation Log: Added support for recording logs of Modify PBX Type.
  • Optimized Operation Log: Added Source information in each log, which indicates the operation is operated on the YMP web or via YMP API interface.
  • Optimized settings on Operation Log page: After Log Type is selected, only the relevant options are displayed in the drop-down list of Operations.
  • Optimized Create a User page: Added support for entering Company information for a user.
  • Optimized User list page: You can select Company field to be displayed in the User list.
  • Optimized PBX list page: You can select Creator field to be displayed in the PBX list.
  • Fixed the issue YMP auto backup: When bulk upgrading PBXs, the YMP auto backup would fail.
  • Fixed the display issue on YMP web: The number of concurrent calls displayed on the web was incorrect.
  • Fixed the issue of PBX upgrade: If you skipped a few released versions and upgraded PBX directly to the latest version, the PBX wouldn't work properly.
  • Fixed the PBX deletion function: After deleting a PBX, an error message was displayed on the web page, however, the PBX was successfully deleted.
  • Fixed the issue of PBX status: After stopping a PBX on YMP web, the PBX status would be abnormal.

  • Added PBX Co-Branding feature
    • Added support for co-branding Yeastar Cloud PBX by customizing logo, product name, favicon (web icon), and email template.
    • Added support for granding Co-branding privileges to YMP hosting users.
    Note:
    • Please contact Yeastar before using Co-branding feature.
    • PBX co-branding is supported on the PBX with firmware version 81.8.0.112 or later.
    • Each time you change the co-branding setting on the YMP, you need to reboot the PBX to take effect.
  • Fixed the issue of Linkus Email: The login QR code could not be displayed if the email was sent to Gmail, Whitebox, and Outlook.
    Note: Required PBX version: 81.9.0.14 or later.

This version fixes several stability issues of the system. We strongly recommend that you upgrade your YMP to the new version.

  • Improved YMP security.
  • Improved YMP stability.
  • Optimized YMP Backup & Restore feature: When the current YMP server is down, you can restore the YMP backup data to a secondary server and the PBXs will run normally in 7 days.
    Note: Please contact Yeastar to activate the secondary server within 7 days.
  • The Linkus Chat feature and PBX Upgrade feature are enabled by default for a newly created PBX.
  • Added support for downloading Operation Logs.
  • Optimized PBX Expiration Date setting: Restrict date format to YYYY-MM-DD.
  • Optimized PBX Export feature: The PBX Type is included in the exported PBX Basic Info.
  • Fixed the issue that the newly created PBX might not be started.
  • Fixed the issue that the statistics of PBX capacity were incorrect.
  • Fixed the PBX issue: If Auto Reboot was configured on the PBX, the PBX might stop running.

  • Optimized User settings: Added support for searching the YMP user accounts.
  • Fixed the issue that a web page error was displayed when resizing the PBX.

  • Optimized Backup feature: the system has a backup schedule by default; the system will back up at 00:00 every day; a maximum of 60 backup files will be stored on the system.
  • Optimized reconnection between YMP and YPS: after the YMP is disconnected with the YPS, users can log in YMP, and reconnect to YPS manually.
  • Optimized Dynamic Defense: if an IP is blocked, all the ports of this IP will be blocked by the YMP.
  • Optimized Blocklist: if the number of blocked IP addresses reaches 5000, the system will delete the IP addresses which are blocked for more than 3 months.
  • Optimized web interface: if cloud PBX uses initial user name and password, the option “Reset Admin Password” will be invalid.
  • Optimized web interface: added identification for required fields.
  • Fixed E-mail server issue: voicemail to E-mail could not work on cloud PBX.
