End a Meeting

When a meeting takes less time than you expected, you can release this room by ending the meeting. Once the room is released, it is available for others to book.

Yeastar Workplace supports two methods to end a meeting.

End a meeting on Room Display

Prerequisites

The Room Display status shows In Use.

Procedure

  1. On the screen of the Room Display, tap the End button.
  2. In the pop-up window, tap Confirm to End.
  3. If identity authentication is required, follow the instructions on the screen to validate your identity.
    The system will allow you to end this meeting if you have the required permission.

Result

You have ended the meeting successfully.

  • The room display status changed to Available or Starting Soon.
  • If this meeting is not booked on room display, the meeting organizer and participants (with end permission) will receive a notification about the end of the meeting, as the following figure shows.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure you have permission to end the meeting.

    Who has permission to end meetings?

    By default, only the meeting organizer can end meetings, however, Yeastar Workplace also supports assigning end-meeting permission to participants. Contact your administrator for more information.

  • This meeting is not booked via room display.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Yeastar Workplace web portal and select the Schedule tab in the top bar.
  2. Click an ongoing meeting that you organized or participated in.
  3. In the pop-up window, click End.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, click OK.

Result

You have ended the meeting successfully.

  • A pop-up message on the top bar says Ended successfully.
  • the meeting organizer and participants (with end permission) will receive a notification about the end of the meeting, as the following figure shows.
