How to flip an active call between devices?

You can effortlessly and seamlessly flip an active call from current device to another (with your extension registered), without any interruption to the conversation.

Linkus for PC

Linkus Desktop Client users can flip an active call by dialing Call Flip feature code.

Requirements

  • P-Series Appliance Edition: 37.8.0.25 or later
  • P-Series Software Edition: 83.8.0.25 or later
  • P-Series Cloud Edition: 84.8.0.25 or later
Extension
  • Your extension has been registered on more than one device.
Procedure
  1. During an active call, click Dialpad.

  2. On the dialpad, enter the feature code (default *01) provided by system administrator.
    All the other registered devices simultaneously ring.
    Tip: In case you want to cancel call flip, dial the feature code again.

  3. Answer the call on the desired device.

    The active call is seamlessly flipped from Linkus Desktop Client to your desired device, and the rest of devices stop ringing.

Linkus for Mobile

Linkus Mobile Client users can flip an active call by tapping Call Flip button.

Procedure
  1. During an active call, tap Call Flip button.

    All the other devices where your extension is registered are displayed.

  2. Tap the desired device.
    Linkus will make a call to your extension on the device.
    Tip: In case you want to cancel call flip, tap Cancel button.

  3. Answer the call on the desired device.

    The active call is seamlessly flipped from Linkus Mobile Client to the device.
